No Matter Where You Live, You Can Find A Great Way To Get Some Exercise
Many Americans have memberships to gyms where they go to exercise. They take their turns for 30 minutes on various machines such as a treadmill or elliptical machine and maybe go to some group exercise classes as well. After awhile, this tends to become monotonous and boring and results in the members not going to the gym as frequently anymore. This article discuss how to get great workouts outside no matter what area you live in. It will talk about going surf kayaking on stand up paddle boards to work on your core, upper body and balance, in addition to using the high altitude of a mountain area to get in shape with a Red rocks boot camp or nordic skiing.
If you resdie in a beach community, the options for you to have a fun and have various workouts are endless. If you love the water, try your hand at open water swimming as this is a lot tougher than swimming laps in a pool. If you want to havesix pack abs like Matthew McConaughey do what he does and hea out paddle surfing either on the water or on the road using a Kahuna board with wheels. This is an excellent workout for your arms and core and helps to improve your balance too. For a cardio hard workout do short sprints and some jumping in the sand and you will be shocked at how quickly you will be tired.
In the mountainous regions there are many opportunities to have a wonderful workout while enjoying being outside. During the winter months, you can go from hut to hut snowshoeing trek where you snowshoe from yurts in the wilderness over a couple of days. You will be exhausted after all of the heart pumping exercise and fresh air. During the summer you can mountain bike on a ski resort runs or participate in a boot camp class at the red rocks amphitheatre outside of Denver. This class has you walking and jumping up and down the stone steps while you look out at a spectacular view.
Living out in a rural area or near a farm also provides wonderful ways to get exercise. Try carrying hay bales or loading loose hay from one area to another to have your arms, cardio and abs are screaming tirelessly. Actually any type of farm chores are great exercise and by helping outassisting for a day at a neighbors farm will give you an excellent workout as well as seeing something new.
Wherever you live, there are ways to get fit without having to have any type of exercise equipment or gym membership. Just take a look around you and look outside the box for other ways that will make exercising a lot more fun. And when all creative ideas don’t work, put on your running shoes or hop on a bike and head out your door to see your area and have some fun while increasing your fitness.
